HUD settles discrimination claims against Las Vegas landlord

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has approved a conciliation agreement settling claims that a Las Vegas landlord discriminated against families with children.

The owner and manager of Meadow Ridge Apartments was accused of denying unsupervised children’s access to the property’s common areas because of an unwritten policy that children could not use common spaces without adult supervision.
