SC REALTORS® to host women in real estate conference
COLUMBIA, S.C. (March 7, 2018) — South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) will host its first women in real estate conference, REAL Women, this Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The all-day event, which coincides with International Women’s Day, is a celebration of women in real estate. The conference was envisioned by SCR’s 2018 President Laura Derrick and strives to empower REALTORS® to take their careers and leadership roles to the next level. The event is slated to have 300 of the state’s top REALTORS® in attendance.
"We are extremely pleased to have such an impressive line-up of guest speakers on our agenda. Attendees are sure to be inspired," said SCR President Laura Derrick.
The speaker line-up includes the National Association of REALTORS® 2018 President, Elizabeth Mendenhall; President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Pauline Bennett; Fox and Friends CoHost, Ainsley Earhardt; and Nephron Pharmaceuticals CEO, Lou Kennedy, among others.
SCR will have a charity table at the event to sign up volunteers for its Sumter Habitat for Humanity Veteran’s Build, and will be collecting shoes for The Women’s Shelter, in partnership with speaker Jane Herlong.
The event is being sponsored by Great Southern Homes, South State Bank, Clark’s Termite & Pest Control and MGC Real Estate. It is open only to preregistered attendees and the media.
