During COVID-19, you can receive FREE credit reports WEEKLY until April 2021 from the credit agencies (e.g., Equifax, Experian, TransUnion)
Ideas to manage identity theft risks:
Freeze your credit (security freeze)(active duty military alert)
Monitor your credit.
Correct errors in your credit.
Disputing. Certified mail with return receipt, identity, documentation, request fix, ID theft report
Blocking.
Credit monitoring services.
Law enforcement.
Social Security Monitoring (www.ssa.gov/myaccount)(monitor, check future benefits, check payments, change address, change direct deposit)[do this before doing credit agency freeze/fraud alerts]
