Working remotely with colleagues, clients, and consumers during the global pandemic has turned into an opportunity for cyber crooks.

This is a good time to train and remind your colleagues, clients, and consumers that the cyber crooks are not stopping their cyber crimes during the global pandemic so review basic cyber security ideas (e.g., do not trust anyone online until you verify/vet them adequately, beware clicking any links/attachments/downloads, use solid passwords).

There have been some reports of Zoom video conferences being targeted, so read the SC Bar’s COVID cyber security information on Zoom (linked above). News reports are that Zoom is attempting to boost their security features in response to the reports.
