SCR encourages members to send legal reports of trials, settlements, lawsuits, etc. to SCR.
Law libraries only record SC Court of Appeals decisions and SC Supreme Court decisions.
Trial level issues rarely get appealed, so reporting would help SCR identify risks.

SCR needs your help. If you hear or see any real estate related lawsuits or settlements, please send the information to info.
You do not need to include names of plaintiffs and defendants if you are uncomfortable or do not know the names. If you are comfortable sending the court order, that is helpful. Even rumors of cases can be helpful.
Only appealed cases make the law library, so learning what is happening in trials and mediation settlements can help SCR alert members to risk management issues and improve the SCR standard forms.
