Good news from LLR Director Farr today: Brokers aka BICs will now be notified when agents aka associated licensees transfer from your brokerage online or otherwise (e.g., in person at LLR).
So, keep your contact information accurate at LLR SC Real Estate Commission.
SCR risk management recommendation: always have a written proper independent contractor agreement and compensation agreement(s) which covers all associated licensee status situations (e.g., active, retiring, quit, incapacitated, death, move brokerages, pendings, on-going compensation such as from leasing, change in splits related to change in status).
For money owed, lawyers and court are an option.
SCR currently offers free Zoom mediation settlement if self settlement does not work.
