On April 23, 2020; the 2020 SCR Executive Committee approved the forms updates recommended by the 2020 SCR Standard Forms Committee and 2020 SCR Property Management Forms Task Force.
Listing agreements will be updated for the May 2020 NAR/MLS clear cooperation rules changes that are designed to prevent reported past abuses of "coming soon" pocket listings by requiring rapid entry of a listing into MLS whenever public marketing is used (e.g., the classic advertising methods, social media).
Leasing forms will be updated in the libraries in the near future to cover license law changes and market changes in property management. Many of the task force property managers have been using a version of the new lease for several years in Charleston and incorporate practical ideas based on Magistrate Court issues.
Other forms will be updated to cover some reported issues.
