Breaking Down the Changes in the Code: Uniform Enforcement of Standard of Practice 10-5 with New Appendix XII

  • Topic: How will the new Appendix XII, Appropriate Interpretation of Standard of Practice 10-5 and Professional Standards Policy Statement #29, assist with uniform enforcement of the Code of Ethics?

NAR Training on the November 13, 2020 ban on hate, harassment, epithets, and slurs speech based on fair housing protected classes and everyone fits into a protected class.

So, REALTORS® and everyone associated with that REALTORS® business of real estate practice cannot use hate, harassment, epithets, or slurs speech/posts/writings based on the fair housing protected classes that cover all humans.

NAR is offering training at this link through April 2021. Many times, NAR records training for review.

Please encourage all of your colleagues to view the NAR fair housing traings and to comply 100% with state, federal, local, and NAR rules on fair housing.

Complaints can be filed at SC Human Affairs Commission, US HUD, appropriate REALTOR® association (often SCR in SC) and LLR.
