Our free legal hotline has been voted as one of our most valuable member benefits. A seasoned real estate lawyer is on call every business day to clarify recent court rulings, explain legal regulations and guide you through Code of Ethics concerns.
Legislative Representation
Because we work in such an easily regulated industry, making your voice heard is one of the primary goals of the South Carolina REALTORS®. In addition to lobbying efforts and grassroots advocacy, SCR uses the influence of South Carolina’s largest Political Action Committee to help shape policy.

How to Become a REALTOR®
The first step to becoming a REALTOR® is to contact your local board or association. They will collect dues and arrange for you to attend a new member initiation program. When your local membership is activated, you will automatically become a member of the both the South Carolina REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
